Show em some love! Give it up for…
Monday, November 17th, 2008We said goodbye to a true staple in pop music and pop culture last night. “TRL” aired their last show in Times Square in front of thousands outside — and inside, a packed studio audience. For someone who watched TRL religiously when I’d come home from school, I was hungry to know what was happening with our favorite songs and artists and how they were doing on the charts. It was so much a launching platform for artists like Eminem, 50 cent, Fall Out Boy, Nysnc, Britney, Backstreet Boys and many more. One of the reasons I got into radio, was to one day be a VJ for TRL. I even sent in an audition tape in 2002 when they were looking for new hosts. I was hoping to catch a break someday and get a call from MTV and they would say…”Hey Joe, want to count from 10-1”? Looks like I might be delayed for a little bit now.
Here’s to you TRL! A show that was all about the music, no matter what genre you were into.

Monday, November 10th, 2008It’s been almost 1 week since we found out we’re getting a new President. Everyone is estatic about Barack Obama taking over in January! It’s gonna be good I’m thinking. I mean, not only is this guy a great leader, but he has put aside his differences with Sarah Palin and together are competing in next season’s Dancing With The Stars…
Tee time
Monday, November 3rd, 2008Good to see you. What a beautiful weekend we just had here in Gville..frickin awesome! So grand, that I dusted off the ‘ol golf clubs and hit up the driving range. Hittin the ball pretty solid these days, not gonna lie. I’m feeling good about taking on Chase next time we tee em up!
although, I guarantee I lose 13 balls in the process
